What Can Spyware Do?

January 14th, 2008 | by admin |

The use of spyware is primarily of course to spy, that is, to reveal things about a computer user in secret. However, many kinds of  spyware  do much more than just report a computer user’s habits or mine information. They can be made to actively take over an unprotected computer system and change the settings, perhaps allowing a virus to penetrate in the process. This can be very problematic indeed and it is necessary nowadays to have the proper software installed in order to block intrusions by these programs, helping us keep our sanity in the process.
