Genome Shotgun Sequencing Aids in Research

Isolation of specific parts of a genome is important for research and identification of the inner workings of the genome itself. Genome shotgun sequencing aids in this process by the extraction of info made easier then reading it straight through. This is necessary because it has been discovered that through transfection viruses are able to sneak into our bodies by disguising it as one of our own. The more research that we can find about the genome the better off we’ll be when it comes to helping people who are suffering from these crippling viruses another ailments that strike our genes.
