Electron Microscopy

Next semester is going to be exciting, because it will be my first chance to get into Electron Microscopy. I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these. The ability to look so deeply into the nature of things is truly extraordinary.
I’ve been researching how electron microscopes work on the Internet, and my fascination just keeps growing. I can’t even begin to fathom what it took to make the first one of these actually work.
I’m going to have to start bringing a sleeping bag to the lab this year. That’s alright - I enjoy it.
