Be a Linux Certified Professional

Linux certification is a term commonly used for the certification given to those IT professionals who have a command over Linux. These certifications are provided by not an individual body but by certain commercial vendors and non-profit organizations. This certification allow professionals to indicate their Linux skills to their employers. Linux certified professionals are those who not only have a proper knowledge of Linux and Linux related products but also have an official certification for that.

To become a Linux Certified professional one must take a certification exam. Two major vendors offering one are Novell Inc. and Red Hat.
