Hundreds of blank IE browser windows pop up.

My computer is acting slowly for a while now. I have also run scans with fully updated Anti-Spywares as well as online scans. Each time I run the programs, I find more questionable files and have them removed. I get hundreds of blank IE browser windows that pop up till I restart my pc. I also get false error messages, and the taskbar disappears while I close Internet Explorer window. I need help to resolve these problems.
