Pros and Cons of Wireless Routers

April 3rd, 2008 | by admin |

Wireless network routers are said to be high performance devices with state of the art software and hardware components. And indeed they are quite proficient. They are on the other side, still under study with consistent improvements and constant updates. The disadvantages are not countless and not extreme. Less secure than wired network routers, they are fitted with powerful firewalls and built-in protection software. Less stable from the signal point of view, fluent signal must be ensured and obstacles must be inexistent in order to preserve the connection. Higher prices are currently applied for the latest routers. These are the disadvantages that we can name, but since this is technology in progress, these faults will probably soon be mended and wireless networking will advance considerably.
