What is DVD publishing?

May 24th, 2008 | by admin |

It seemed to me that the answer to what is DVD publishing would be simple enough but that wasn’t quite the case.  As I was searching for Tampa DVD Duplication I learned that DVD publishing refers to DVD publishing systems that are used to create quantities of unique discs from different computer files rather than just to make multiple copies of a single master disc. Some examples of DVD publishing applications include creating writable DVDs containing medical images or monthly banking records, archiving computer-generated billing records to disc in place of microfilm and accepting conventional analog video tapes resulting in DVD video on writable DVD discs.  This is what I was told by a knowledgeable person at the tampa dvd duplication company that I took my DVD Duplication project to.
