T1 Channel Bank for 24 Voice Phone Lines

July 2nd, 2009 | by admin |

Instead of getting land lines to handle our incoming service calls, our ISP is helping us set up our high speed internet connection to handle multiple phone lines. What we’re using is a T1 channel bank to split the line into 24 voice phone lines. This is making our investment in a high speed t1 leased line well worth the cost since it’s now serving double duty. We don’t have a need for the full 24 lines as yet, but it’s good to know that they’re there for the future.
