A new phase of restaurants begin with wireless POS systems

June 12th, 2008 | by admin |

Last Saturday, it was my birthday and my husband planned a surprise dinner for me. We went to the restaurant around 8 p.m. I was expecting that the waiter would come and start scribbling on a piece of paper. But I got surprised when I found him carrying a wireless device. We placed the order and he entered everything on a wide screen of that device with a touch of his finger. I couldn’t resist anymore and I asked him about the device. He explained that it is a Wireless POS Systems which enable him to feed data with a touch of his finger. There is no need to write the whole name; rather select it from the list of the stored data. He told me that the ordered items will be automatically displayed in the kitchen as well as at the billing desk. I was completely fascinated with this new POS system.
