How To Scan A Picture

November 21st, 2007 | by admin |

Many people still don’t know how to scan a picture. This is how, in extremely simple lingo. We first assume that the scanner is connected to your computer and is working properly. Put the scanner on. The yellow light will come on and you will see the lights inside. Put the image, face down, on the surface of the scanner, right on the glass. Take a minute to see if the image is aligned properly. Then close the lid of the scanner. Press the preview button in the scanner software on the computer. You will see a preliminary view of the picture. Let some moments pass; the preview will take some time to come out properly. Then see if everything is in order. You can tinker with the resolution and effects a bit if you want. You can even realign the page if it is not correct. Then press the scan button. The software will ask you for a save name for the image. Put it, and remember which folder it is saving in. The scanning will take a few seconds, depending on the speeds of the hardware and software you have. When over, the image will be automatically saved with the name you have given.
